LAZIO BEAT THE CRAP OF ZAMPARINI'S FOULMOUTH BY 1-0
We finally won our 6-consecutive win.
Our bud,Diaz, scored at the 27th minutes.
Can't tell how good was that match.
It was a though match because based on the fact that Lazio only got 1 point from 3 meets with Palermo at Renzo Barbera.
Alot of people even predicted that Lazio would be beaten.
But,when the match's start,Lazio attacking the verboden.
They attacking from the side to side, from the center.
We finally led by 1 goal to 0 when Diaz scored at the 27th minutes. After we led,Palermo strikes alot to our Muslera.
But Muslera can calm his head, and hit the ball with his punch. We have alot of chances to score, but as we thought before,Palermo's defender kinda though to hit.
Palermo almost scored when a player shot to the right side of the goal. But Muslera once again catch the ball calmly.
We and Palermo did strikes alot.
It was 4 minutes additional time in the 2nd half. Our manager changed Zarate, and put in Gonzales.
After that,he strengthen our defender by put in Scaloni. After fighting in the 4 additional minutes, the referee finally blow the flute, and we won by 1 goal to 0.
It's not a surprising thing we won from Palermo.
1 thing for sure,Lazio still capolista.
Even when Internazionale steal 3 points from Genoa's home.
Whatever happened, our Lazio still in capolista, with 22 points.
And the final match's result,Palermo 0-1 SS.Lazio.

Zamparini's Jealously really Pissed everyone
Well,I dont know if it's the best way to say it.
But as we know already,Zamparini always told us to be very lucky to be the 1st rank in Serie A.
I dont know what is his problem either.
One thing is,his jealously really beyond my patience limit.
It is usually happened, when your team did the bad run at the last season, and this year, they're surprisingly strong, just as like Lazio this year.
But let me tell something:Lazio is not the team that "just promote" to Serie A.
They are the team that already build their mentality to be the winner.
I maybe really selfish, but it shouldnt surprise us.
A big team always have their worst run,and suddenly "revive",and being stronger in the next season.
I can only say that Palermo is the strong team. But it aint means a strong team can not be defeated.
Zamparini always say they are the strong team, even stronger than Lazio, and always say,"I hope we can re-do what we did last season, beat Lazio by 3 goals to 1."
Always trying to say the past thing.
How about if we say that in the 2008-2009,Lazio beat Palermo by 4 goals to 2,where Palermo firstly led by 2 goals, before Lazio "rotate" the fact, and scored another 4 goals.
Lazio last season aint Lazio this season.
So,I hope Zamparini stop barking, after seeing his team beaten by Lazio at Sunday.
Maybe that's the only way to make him feel to not underistimate the team that getting a thing called "LUCK".
If it is a luck, that made Lazio lead Serie A until now...
So,there's a 4-consecutive wins,5 tho...including won against Portogruaro at Coppa Italy.
5-consecutive wins in all competition, isnt something that easily called Luck.
We can keep our consistency to get the best...For our Team,For our Fans,For Us.
Forza Lazio!

Giornata 9's Preview,US.Citta di Palermo vs SS.Lazio
Lazio coach Edy Reja is hoping his team continue to surprise him when they visit Palermo tomorrow.
The Romans head to La Favorita top of the Serie A standings having picked up 19 points from their first eight games.
Reja's men host struggling Roma on November 7 and nothing would please Biancoceleste fans more than to see their team arrive at the city derby still enjoying the view from the summit.
"I would love for that to happen,'' said Reja. "I would even be satisfied to head into the derby with just a one-point advantage over our closest rivals.
"But we will see what happens.''
Reja has reason to be wary despite his team approaching this weekend's trip to Sicily on a four-match winning streak.
Lazio have claimed just one point in their last three visits to the Stadio Renzo Barbera.
Moreover, they face a familiar face in former coach Delio Rossi, now in charge of Palermo.
Rossi guided Lazio for four years before leaving the Roman outfit in the summer of 2009.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini hopes his side can repeat last season's 3-1 triumph against the Biancoceleste.
The islanders head into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat at Udinese but Zamparini firmly believes his team have what it takes to upset their guests.
"I think Lazio were lucky to beat Cagliari last weekend,'' said Zamparini. "We are stronger than Lazio and I am certain we will end their good run of form.''
Palermo lie seventh, eight points behind Lazio, and have lost just once at home this season.
However, Rossi's men will have their work cut out to break down one of the best defences in the league, with Lazio having conceded just three goals on the road this season.

SS.Lazio's HOT NEWS!
Manchester City are preparing to launch a move for Lazio defender Stefan Radu, according to the player's agent.
Radu, from Romania, has two years left on his current contract but could follow in the footsteps of Aleksandar Kolarov, who joined City from Lazio in a £16 million deal this summer.
The 24-year-old can play either at centre half or left-back, and his agent Victor Becali now claims City are keen to seal a deal for Radu as soon as the January transfer window opens.
"Stefan has another two years on his contract with Lazio but there is a valid offer from Manchester City," Becali told adevarul.ro. "Coach Roberto Mancini knows the Italian championship and Radu, and when City played in Timisoara in the Europa League, Mancini met my brother (to talk about Radu)."
Radu joined Lazio from Dinamo Bucharest in 2008 and has made nine appearances for Romania. He has started every game this season for Lazio, who are currently at the top of Serie A on the hunt for their first title since 2000.
"Radu is 24-years-old, last year he played well and this year he's playing very well," Becali added to tuttomercatoweb. "In my opinion he is therefore definitely ready for a big club like Juventus, AC Milan or Inter, but we haven't talked with them."

Giornata 8,SS.Lazio 2-1 Cagliari
STEFANO MAURI MAKES IT FOUR CONSECUTIVE WIN
A Stefano Mauri-inspired Lazio beat Cagliari at the Stadio Olimpico to record their fourth consecutive win in Serie A.
The Italy international set up the opener for Sergio Floccari in the 21st minute before scoring his side's second shortly after the restart.
Alessandro Matri pulled one back for Cagliari before the hour mark, but in the end it was Lazio who were unlucky not to add to their tally before the full-time whistle.
The result strengthened Lazio's position at the top of the standings.
The Romans went into the encounter against the team from Sardinia in buoyant mood, having had not given away goal in 294 minutes of football.
And they started in confident fashion with Mauro Zarate's early effort saved by Cagliari goalkeeper Michael Agazzi.
At the other end, Lazio keeper Fernando Muslera did well to clear Matri4s pass with his Cagliari team-mate Andrea Lazzari waiting in front of goal.
The hosts took the lead midway through the first half.
Mauri set up Floccari inside the area and he struck the ball past Agazzi to put Lazio in front.
On the half-hour mark, Floccari forced a save from Agazzi with a fierce left-footed drive from the edge of the area.
Cagliari should have restored parity on the stroke of half-time but Matri4s header from Andrea Cossu's free-kick flew over the bar.
Lazio had the wind in their sails but did not double their advantage until eight minutes into the second half.
Floccari4s low cross was deflected by Hernanes towards Cagliari4s box and an off-balanced Mauri fell forward, inadvertently chesting the ball into the goal.
After the fortuitous goal, the Sardinians reduced the deficit in the 59th minute.
Matri latched onto Cossu4s cross from the right and his powerful header beat Muslera.
As the minutes ticked away, Lazio substitute Tommaso Rocchi was presented with a great chance to make it 3-1 when he found himself with a sight of goal, but his close-range effort from Mauri's pass was off target.

Giornata 8's Preview: SS.Lazio vs Cagliari
SS.Lazio ON-FIRE Against Cagliari
Serie A leaders Lazio are more confident than ever going into tomorrow's encounter against Cagliari.
The Biancoceleste have won five of their first seven fixtures and hold a two-point advantage over Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Moreover, Lazio have one of the best defensive lines in the tournament with just five goals conceded.
For the third successive game Lazio kept a clean sheet in last weekend's 2-0 triumph at Bari.
Lazio coach Edy Reja has further reason to be upbeat with his team showing no signs of weakness up front either, having found the target in their last six league games.
"I would give the team a seven out of 10 so far,'' said Lazio captain Tommaso Rocchi. "We are doing well.
"We started on the right foot and we were very determined to bounce back from our disappointing campaign last year.
"The club made important signings this summer and we are all working well.
"We are in a great position in the standings and now we need the strength to remain humble and take it one game at a time.''
Cagliari travel to the Stadio Olimpico looking for their first win on the road this season.
Last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Inter saw the Sardinian outfit drop to 16th place.
Despite the result, Cagliari coach Pier Paolo Bisoli was satisfied with his team's display.
"My players gave everything against the European champions and as a coach I can ask little more from my side,'' he said.
"If we continue like this each week I am sure the results will come flooding in.''

7th Match,AS.Bari 0-2 SS.Lazio
Lazio returned to the top of Serie A after a workmanlike win over Bari at the Stadio San Nicola.
Anderson Hernanes broke the deadlock after a dull first half and Sergio Floccari added a second after an hour to earn the Biancoceleste all three points in a dreary encounter.
Bari woke up late and had a hatful of chances to score in the last 10 minutes but by then the damage had been done as Lazio moved back to the top of the pile on 16 points.
The few fans who had chosen to attend the match at the Stadio San Nicola on a wet and humid evening were hardly entertained in the first half.
A header from Andre Dias which missed the post by inches was the only highlight of a very disappointing opening 45 minutes.
It did not look like the second half was going to be much better until Hernanes opened the scoring in the 53rd minute.
It was a scrappy goal with Stefano Mauri's harmless-looking ball finding its way through to Hernanes, who placed his shot through the legs of Jean-Francois Gillet.
The game finally came to life and Hernanes almost scored a second three minutes later, but this time he shot into the side-netting.
The second goal arrived within 10 minutes of the first and was another messy effort.
Mauri struck his shot poorly but still managed to inadvertently find Floccari in the centre. Floccari's shot was even worse as he thumped the ball into the ground, but it looped up over Gillet and into the goal.
Fortune was on Lazio's side but the reverse was true for Bari, who could have had four goals late on but ended drawing a blank.
Substitute Jose Castillo's header was saved by Nelson Muslera in the 71st minute before the post, Muslera, and then the post again contrived to prevent Castillo from scoring 10 minutes from time.
Castillo then fired across the face of goal with only Muslera to beat and Sergio Almiron shot straight at the Lazio goalkeeper as a late Bari surge went unrewarded.

Giornata 4,La Grande Partita,SS.Lazio 1-1 AC.Milan
Sergio Floccari's equaliser prevented AC Milan from returning to winning ways tonight as Lazio earned a deserved point at the Stadio Olimpico.Zlatan Ibrahimovic had given the Rossoneri a 1-0 lead in the 66th minute only for Lazio to hit back with nine minutes remaining.
Milan were unlucky not to claim all three points after Gianluca Zambrotta's strike rattled the crossbar two minutes from time. The result marked Milan's second straight draw and their third game without a win under new boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Ibrahimovic should have given the visitors a seventh-minute lead but the Swede failed to beat Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera in a one-on-one.Shortly afterwards, Ibrahimovic got behind Andrea Pirlo's free-kick and beat his marker before firing a right-footed strike that Muslera turned away for a corner.
On the half-hour mark, Lazio had their first chance.
Floccari fed Hernanes on the edge of the area and he fired just wide of the far post.
Lazio should have taken the lead before the break but Stefano Mauri's 15-yard strike was met by a fine save by Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati.Shortly after the restart, Floccari's attempt from outside the area was kept out by Abbiati
On the hour, Abbiati cleared Hernanes' 14-yard shot with his knee as Milan's defence looked to be under constant threat. But it was Milan that took a surprise lead after the hour mark.A defensive distraction from Lazio saw Ibrahimovic connect with Clarence Seedorf's pass and he struck the ball past Muslera to put his team in front.
Lazio coach Edoardo Reja brought in attacking duo Tommaso Rocchi and Mauro Zarate. But it was Floccari that came to the rescue for the home side.Hernanes' cross found Floccari at the heart of the area and his left-footed strike towards the top left corner beat Abbiati.
Lazio still could have claimed victory had Abbiati not made a great save to deny Hernanes from close range with one minute to go.

Giornata 3,AC.Fiorentina 1-2 SS.Lazio
Christian Ledesma went from villain to hero as he conceded a penalty before scoring an equaliser to help inspire Lazio to a second consecutive win at Fiorentina. The hosts, still searching for their first league win, were ahead after 19 minutes when Ledesma brought down Alessio Cerci and Adem Ljajic converted the spot-kick.
Ledesma redeemed himself 13 minutes later when he turned in Stefano Mauri's clever pass before Libor Kozak tucked home the winner with 69 minutes played. Both sides threatened early with Lazio's Australia midfielder Mark Bresciano almost opening the scoring in fine style when he met Francelino Matuzalem's cross with a sweetly-hit volley that was just too high.
It was Fiorentina that got the game's opening goal, however, when Ledesma clumsily felled Cerci in the area.Teenage striker Ljajic was tasked with taking the spot-kick and he showed little sign of nerves as he stroked the ball low in at the right-hand post.
Frey had to react quickly on two occasions to preserve his side's lead to deny Cerci and Anderson Hernanes before Lorenzo De Silvestri had to clear a Mauri shot off the line. The visitors did equalise just after the half hour and it was Ledesma who made up for his earlier blunder as he turned in a low shot after Mauri had done well to pick him out.Fiorentina thought they had regained the lead soon after but Alberto Gilardino's strike was ruled out for offside.
After the break Matuzalem shot wide from long range but just as Fiorentina started to reassume control they fell behind for the first time in the match.Frey made a good save to keep out Hernanes' 20-yard strike but the ball fell kindly for Kozak to bundle in the winning goal.Fiorentina's quest for an equaliser was denied by some good goalkeeping from Fernando Muslera who made a close-range block to thwart Khouma Babacar before tipping over a long-range De Silvestri effort.

Giornata 2,SS.Lazio 3-1 Bologna
Lazio fended off a late Bologna comeback to record their first victory of the season.Stefano Mauri and Tommaso Rocchi had given the Romans what seemed like an unassailable lead with strikes in the second half.
But when Gaby Mudingayi clawed one back for the visitors with 12 minutes remaining it set up a frantic finish. The Rossoblu surged forward in search of an equaliser. The best opportunity of all fell to substitute Daniele Paponi who, in the 88th minute, headed over the bar Luca Siligardi's dangerous cross towards the far post.
Lazio put the game beyond doubt when Hernanes struck from the penalty spot deep in stoppage-time after Daniele Portanova had brought down substitute Libor Kozak inside the area.Lazio could have taken the lead in the 26th minute but Mauri's header from five yards was saved by Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
At the other end, Marco Di Vaio struck wide from the heart of the area as both teams went into the break with all to play for.Lazio showed more determination in the second half and broke the deadlock in the 68th minute.Mauri got behind Rocchi's cross and struck a right-footed shot from the heart of the area past Viviano.
Lazio doubled their lead seven minutes later. This time Mauri acted as provider and served Rocchi, whose lob over the keeper that sent the crowd at the Stadio Olimpico into raptures. There was little Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera could do to save Mudingayi's bullet strike from 25 yards as Bologna reduced arrears.
Lazio's Hernanes ended Bologna's hopes when he struck towards the right corner from the six-yard box.

Opening Match,Sampdoria 2-0 SS.Lazio
Finally,the new season started!
The 2010-2011 Season.
Lazio is trying to think forward this year.
It's obvious because their worst season was last season, which made them suffered after getting alot of ties and lose, and also getting an internal problem, like Pandev's problem,Ledesma, and etc.
But it's time to start it,with the Opening match against Sampdoria.
Lazio wasnt at a bad shape, but the score board told everything.
Lazio was beaten.

Sampdoria claimed their first win in a Serie A opener at the Luigi Ferraris stadium since 1997 by beating Lazio tonight.
Samp striker Antonio Cassano opened the scoring from the penalty spot on the hour mark after Stephan Lichtsteiner had brought down Daniele Dessena inside the area.
Cassano coolly struck towards the left corner and Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera was unable to get a hand to the effort.
The hosts doubled their lead 11 minutes later with a splendid Stefano Guberti lob.
It was the visitors, however, that enjoyed a better start.
In the 10th minute, Sergio Floccari's header from Mauro Zarate's cross forced Sampdoria goalkeeper Gianluca Curci to dive to his right to clear.
Midway through the first half, new summer signing Hernanes' 25-yard shot went just wide of the far post.
At the other end, Muslera did well to come off his line and anticipate an unmarked Cassano, who was ready to fire home.
Before the break, Curci was forced to fully stretch to clear Hernanes' dangerous free-kick.
Samp showed more determination after the break and almost broke the deadlock in the 55th minute.
Guberti fed Cassano inside the area and his diagonal strike went just wide of the far post.
After Cassano put Samp ahead from the penalty spot, Lazio coach Eddy Reja argued with the referee and was handed his marching orders for dissent.
Shortly after, Muslera palmed away Angelo Palombo's bullet strike as Samp looked to put the game beyond Lazio's reach.
The hosts got their second with 19 minutes to go.
Guberti saw Muslera out of position and lobbed the ball over the Lazio keeper.
Samp held on to keep a clean sheet.

Stadio Olimpico, located on the Foro Italico, is the major stadium of Rome, Italy. It is the home of the Italian national football team, as well as of both local teams S.S. Lazio and A.S. Roma. It was opened in 1937 and after its latest renovation in 2008, the stadium has a capacity of 72,689 seats.[1] It was the site of the 1960 Summer Olympics, but has also served as the location of the 1987 World Athletics Championships, the 1980 European Championship final, the 1990 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Champions League Final in 1996 and 2009.
Also on the Foro Italico lies the Stadio dei Marmi, or "marble stadium", which was built in 1932 and designed by Enrico Del Debbio. It has tiers topped by 60 white marble statues that were gifts from Italian cities in commemoration of 60 athletes.
During the 1989–90 season S.S. Lazio and A.S. Roma played their games at the Stadio Flaminio of Rome, located in the district Flaminio, because of the renovation works carried out at the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio is the sixth most supported football club in Italy and the second in Rome, with around 2% of Italian football fans supporting the club (according to the la Repubblica’s research of August 2008).[30] Historically the largest section of Lazio supporters in the city of Rome has come from the far northern section, creating an arch like shape across Rome with affluent areas such as; Parioli, Prati, Flaminio, Cassia and Monte Mario.
Lazio's ultras have acquired a reputation for fascist and anti-Semitic sentiments. Franklin Foer, writing in Mussolini's Team, has stated "Although the S.S. stands for societá sportiva, Lazio merits the abbreviation's worst connotations. Of all the clubs in Europe, each with its own goon squad of skinhead supporters, Lazio fans are easily the most racist, anti-Semitic, pro-fascist, and despicable of the bunch." Foer continues: "Before one game last year, police seized 60 different racist and anti-Semitic banners but missed several large ones, including a 50-meter-long banner that taunted fans from a cross-town rival by declaring that they had a 'Black Squad, Jewish Home End'. At another match against Roma, the opponents were greeted with a sign that told them, 'Auschwitz is your town, the ovens your houses'. The ultras have been known to appropriate the Nazi font when spelling the 'S.S.' in S.S. Lazio."
Founded in 1987 Irriducibili Lazio were the club's biggest ultras group for over 20 years. Usually the only time they create traditional Italian ultras displays is for the Derby della Capitale.
The Derby della Capitale, known in English speaking countries as the Rome derby is a match between Lazio and their main rivals Roma; it is amongst the most heated and emotional footballing rivalries in the world.[35] A Lazio fan, Vincenzo Paparelli was killed at one of the derby games during the 1979–80 season after being hit in the eye by a flare thrown by a Roma fan. Lazio also have a strong rivalry with Napoli and Livorno. Conversely the ultras have friendly relationships with Inter, Triestina and Hellas Verona. They also have friendships with clubs elsewhere in Europe, including Real Madrid, Espanyol, Levski Sofia, Norwich City and Chelsea.

The History of SS.Lazio
Società Sportiva Lazio, commonly referred to as Lazio, is a professional Italian football club based in Rome. The team, founded in 1900, play in the Serie A and have spent most of their history in the top tier of Italian football. Lazio have been Italian champions twice, and have won the Coppa Italia five times, the Supercoppa Italiana three times, and both the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Super Cup on one occasion.
The club had their first major success in 1958, winning the league cup. In 1974 they won their first Serie A title. The past fifteen years have been the most successful period in Lazio’s history, capped by winning UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 1999, the Serie A title in 2000, several league cups and reaching their first UEFA Cup final in 1998.
Lazio's traditional kit colours are sky blue shirts and shorts with white socks. Their home is the 72,689[1] capacity Stadio Olimpico in Rome, which they share with city rivals A.S. Roma. Lazio have a long-standing rivalry with Roma, with whom they have contested the Derby della Capitale (in English "Derby of the capital" or Rome derby) since 1929.
Lazio is also a sports club that participate in thirty-seven sports disciplines in total, more than any other sports association in Europe.[5]
Società Podistica Lazio was founded on January 9, 1900 in the Prati district of Rome.[6] Lazio, that was the first football team of Rome, joined league competition in 1912 as soon as the Italian Football Federation began organizing championships in the center and south of Italy, and reached the final of the national championship playoff three times, but never won, losing in 1913 to Pro Vercelli, in 1914 toCasale and in 1923 to Genoa 1893.
In 1927 Lazio was the only major Roman club which resisted the Fascist regime's attempts to merge all the city's teams into what would become A.S. Roma the same year.
he club played in the first organized Serie A in 1929 and, led by legendary Italian strikerSilvio Piola,[7] achieved a second place finish in 1937 — its highest pre-war result.
The 1950s produced a mix of mid and upper table results with an Italian Cup win in 1958. Lazio was relegated for the first time in 1961 to the Serie B, but returned in the top flight two years later. After a number of mid-table placements, another relegation followed in 1970–71.[8] Back to Serie A in 1972–73, Lazio immediately emerged as surprise challengers for the Scudetto to Milan and Juventus in 1972–1973, only losing out on the final day of the season, with a team comprising captain Giuseppe Wilson, as well as midfielders Luciano Re Cecconi and Mario Frustalupi, striker Giorgio Chinaglia, and head coach Tommaso Maestrelli.[9] Lazio improved such successes the following season, ensuring its first title in 1973–74.[10][11] However, tragic deaths of Luciano Re Cecconi[12] and scudetto trainer Tommaso Maestrelli, as well as the departure of Chinaglia, would be a triple blow for Lazio. The emergence of Bruno Giordano during this period provided some relief as he finished League top scorer in 1979, when Lazio finished 8th.[13]
Lazio were forcibly relegated to Serie B in 1980 due to a remarkable scandal concerning illegal bets on their own matches, along with AC Milan. They remained in Italy's second division for three seasons in what would mark the darkest period in Lazio's history. They would return in 1983 and manage a last-day escape from relegation the following season. 1984–85 would prove harrowing, with a pitiful 15 points and bottom place finish.
In 1986, Lazio was hit with a 9-point deduction (a true deathblow back in the day of the two-point win) for a betting scandal involving player Claudio Vinazzani. An epic struggle against relegation followed the same season in Serie B, with the club led by trainer Eugenio Fascetti only avoiding relegation to the Serie C after play-off wins over Taranto and Campobasso. This would prove a turning point in the club's history, with Lazio returning to Serie A in 1988 and, under the careful financial management of Gianmarco Calleri, the consolidation of the club's position as a solid top-flight club.[14][15]
The arrival of Sergio Cragnotti, in 1992, changed the club's history due to his long-term investments in new players to make the team a scudettocompetitor. Cragnotti repeatedly broke transfer records in pursuit of players who were considered major stars – Juan Sebastian Veron for £18million,Christian Vieri for £19million and breaking the world transfer record, albeit only for a matter of weeks, to sign Hernan Crespo from Parma for £35million.[16]
Lazio were Serie A runners-up in 1995, third in 1996, and fourth in 1997, then losing the championship just by one point to Milan on the last championship's match in 1999 before, with the likes of Siniša Mihajlović, Alessandro Nesta, Marcelo Salas and Pavel Nedvěd in the side, finally winning its second scudetto in 2000, as well as the Italian Cup in an impressive and rare (by Italian standards) "double" with Sven-Göran Eriksson (1997–2001) as manager.
Lazio had two more Coppa Italia triumphs in 1998 and 2004, as well as the last ever UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1999.[17] They also reached the UEFA Cup final in 1998, but lost 0–3 againstInternazionale.[18]
In addition, Lazio won the Italian Super Cup twice and defeated Manchester United in 1999 to win theEuropean Super Cup.[19]
In 2000, Lazio became also the first Italian football club to be quoted on the Italian Piazza Affari stock market.[20]
However, with money running out, Lazio's results slowly worsened in the years; in 2002, a financial scandal involving Cragnotti and his food products multinational Cirio forced him to leave the club, and Lazio was controlled until 2004 by caretaker financial managers and a bank pool. This forced the club to sell their star players and even fan favourite captain Alessandro Nesta. In 2004 entrepreneur Claudio Lotito acquired the majority of the club.[21]
In 2006, the club qualified to the 2006–07 UEFA Cup under coach Delio Rossi. The club was however excluded from European competitions due to their involvement in match-fixing scandal.[22]
In 2006–2007, despite a later-reduced points deduction, Lazio achieved a third place finish, thus getting qualified to the UEFA Champions League qualifying round, where they defeatedDinamo Bucharest to get into the group phase, ended in fourth place in a round composed of Real Madrid, Werder Bremen and Olympiacos. Things in the league did not go much better with the team spending most of the season in the bottom half of the table, sparking the protests of the fans, and eventually ending the Serie A season in 12th place. But in 2008-2009 the club won their fifth Coppa Italia, beating Sampdoria in the final.[23]
Lazio started the 2009–10 season playing the Supercoppa against Inter in Beijing, and winning the match 2–1 with goals from Matuzalem and Rocchi.
Lazio is in the thirties from the top, touches the Scudetto in '36 and '37 touches the prestigious European Cup final in disposing of the Hungarians Ferencvaros.: We play the greatest Italian striker of all time, who with 143 networks holds a record difficult to match signatures, Silvio Piola. There also plays as a goalkeeper Uber Gradella. And with them many others.
Not to forget the multi-sport nature of Lazio, it should be noted, including new foundations, extraordinary results, epic moments of sport, the ranks of Lazio, playing fine champions and celebrities. Among many others, in S.S.L. Hiking was the future king of Italy, Umberto II version of Scout, cycling races in the colors Fausto Coppi Lazio: Lazio's ranks include Olympic champions and heroes of war: many of them are named after many roads in the Capital in memory and undying pride.
The first trophy, however, comes only in 1958: Fulvio Bernardini coach of the team (he was the first Roman to take on the role of the national team, he born in Lazio) and Bob Lovallo brave goalkeeper and captain, won the Italian Cup final, beating Fiorentina thanks to a goal of Prini.
The second win is thirteen years later: Lazio won the Cup of the Alps in 1971: the team takes shape, a little later, will win the Scudetto. E 'in 1974, when the "gang" of Maestrelli, after having touched the first year and only two years after their return to Serie A, won the flag thanks to a terrific season. Legendary Training: Pulici, Petrelli, Martini, Wilson, Oddi, Nanni, Garlaschelli Re Cecconi, Chinaglia, Frustalupi, D'Amico. Coach, in fact, Maestrelli and President Umberto Lenzini.
